Samsung Transform Ultra arriving on Sprint

Samsung Transform Ultra arriving on Sprint

Sprint has just announced the launch of a new Android device on its network, targeted at the budget-conscious crowd. Called the Samsung Transform Ultra, the phone was previously released on Sprint’s  Boost Mobile network, and now it’ll be arriving on the main network – unfortunately with no WiMAX connectivity. Giving Sprint users the choice of another keyboard-toting Android phone, the Samsung Transform Ultra packs a 1GHz processor, a 3.5″ HVGA display, 3-megapixel rear camera, VGA front-facing camera, 512MB of RAM, 2GB of internal storage, microSD  card slot, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS.

The phone will also ship with Android 2.3 Gingerbread and Sprint ID. No word on pricing or a release date, but it should arrive in time for the holiday season. A solid choice for folks in search of a slide out QWERTY Android phone.
