How is one suppose to maintain his or her relevance in society? Well, by keeping up with the times, of course, and the same can be said for companies as well as products that roll through their doors. The iPod classic and iPod Shuffle seem to have been around for forever now, where the former carries a small hard drive inside while the latter lacks a display which has long proved to be a bitter pill to swallow although you can’t argue with its price.
It seems that Apple has had enough of both devices, knowing that touchscreen devices are the way to go, so sentimentalism is definitely out of the question if Apple were to remain competitive. After all, why bother when sales of both devices have been on the decline for some time already?
Interestingly enough, the iPod classic has been hanging around the gadget scene for a decade already, making me wonder just where the time had gone. Could this mean the death of clickwheel applications in the future?
