Transform your iPhone into a landline phone

I’ve been wondering just how long it will be before landline phones as we know them become extinct. I can’t say I know a single person under the age of 30 that has one. The only places I see landlines are at my grandparents’ house, and when I’m in a store or office. The only benefit I can really think of that these contraptions have over my smartphone is that they are generally more comfortable to hold.

For around $32 you can relive the glory days of having a receiver to hold in your hand while you talk to someone. That’s right, you can trade in your thin phone for a slightly thicker piece of plastic to hold up to your ear. The one nice feature is that since you’re not holding the phone, you are free to look up important information (or play a game) while you’re talking. You can even put the person on speaker phone, or play music through the built-in speaker. It’s not exactly a revolutionary product, but at least it isn’t expensive.
